This is definitely a great Roadside Attraction and they do a good job of keeping you in the store with both food treats and a really neat upstairs portion where you can watch the workers make some of the dishes and treats that you can buy in the gift shop. Super cool and definitely worth stopping by. I got the ground pecan and use it in as many dishes as possible
Expected a little more. May be my own fault because I had higher expectations than I should have. Staff was not friendly during our visit. May have been a brown day for them. They do have s very large selection of various sweet treats.... even pecans.
This place is worth stopping at! Amazing selection of snacks and nuts. The key lime pecans are out of this world good. Also got some snack mix that is very good. This is just off the highway, so it's not far to travel down the road.
I have found my new place to store when I'm on my long trip from my house in Charlotte to my parents house in Texas. This place has plenty of cool items to shop through, food, and decent bathrooms. For those from Texas, the bathrooms are Buckees nice, but they are still pretty clean. Another huge plus is there is a huge yard to walk your dog.
Priester's is a great place to go when you are traveling and want a quick stop to stretch, use the restroom, and get a few sweets. Most of the treats are made in store (on some days you can go upstairs and watch them make the desserts behind glass), and there are normally samples for you to try what you are buying. There is also a gift shop with just about anything you can think of, and about a third of it is Alabama and Auburn apparel. I especially recommend the "Almond Angel" and the "Pecan Log".
